Capacitors
22.1 Symbols
There are mainly three symbols for capacitors:
These symbols are functionally equivalent. A capacitor is a more or less symmetrical two pins component. In ICs, non symmetry mainly results from parasitic components. This is the reason why two symbols out of three are not symmetrical.
